Research design

A useful industry report begins with careful questions.

Practice-led

The survey asks people working in migration practices about the systems, workflows and decisions they experience today.

Built for comparison

Structured questions make it possible to identify sector patterns while optional written responses add useful context.

What we measure

Technology use today, and the opportunities ahead.

The 28-question survey covers generative AI, automation, practice systems and future technology priorities. Most questions use structured choices so answers can be analysed consistently; a small number invite optional written context.

Current practice

We examine the tools and processes already supporting work in a migration practice.

  • Generative AI use and governance
  • Automation and administration
  • Systems and integration

Future focus

We also ask where practices see investment, risk and meaningful opportunity over the next few years.

  • Technology maturity
  • Investment priorities
  • Barriers to change
How it works

The details behind the research.

The report will present patterns from participating practices, not a public ranking of individual practitioners.

About the Report

The score is calculated securely on the server from five categories: AI Adoption, AI Governance, Automation, Practice Systems and Digital Client Experience. It is an indicative point-in-time reflection—not an assessment of legal compliance, professional competence or service quality.

Responses will be analysed in aggregate to identify sector themes and differences by practice profile where there are sufficient responses. Optional written answers may be reviewed thematically and used only in de-identified form.

No. Individual participants, practices and Technology Scores will not be published. Findings will be shown as aggregated results, with any illustrative comments de-identified before use.

Participation is voluntary, so findings describe participating respondents and should be interpreted in that context. Technology also changes quickly; the report will reflect the period in which responses are collected.
